You could maybe get people to pay $5 or $10 for a chance to grab a key from a bowl and try the locks. If the key works the person opens the unit door and have their choice of prizes from a table in company boxes. They get to try their key in the locks on several mystery units. For the Grand Opening, you either mail out several hundred keys to people that you have invited to participate in your event. This is one that has been done as a part of Grand Opening celebration or Chamber of Commerce event, but I don’t know if it has ever been tried as a fund raiser.
